The Bank of America Technology Winter Social celebration showcased employees’ efforts to brighten the holidays for 15 families in need.
“I would have been happy with anything,” Audra Lee said, astounded at the generosity shown by Bank of America employees. It was a sentiment expressed by the other families in attendance!
Lee expressed both her gratitude and those of the other families as she got up to speak during the event. Her son, 7-year-old Dangelo Wilson, a student at Brookview Elementary school, was delighted with his family’s basket and intrigued with the art supplies that were included.
Alyssa Carrigan, mother of 9-year-old Raeli and 7-year-old Ashton, was brought to tears when she saw the wagon full of gifts for her family. “It’s so hard now to tell who’s in need,” said Claudia Alcaraz. “Even though we both work full time it is such a struggle for my family.” Alcaraz attended the event with her husband Alejandro and their three children.
Many thanks to the generous hearts who made the holidays for these families and other Full Service Schools families a little brighter.
“It was pretty awesome,” said Cody Alcaraz.
