Understanding our history and planning our future is an important step in community change. Join Eastside leaders, residents and advocates alongside community partners for this two-part discussion on improving the Historic Eastside.

 

PART I: Historic Eastside Community Development Corporation Bi-Monthly Meeting (6-6:30 p.m.)

Eastside residents and advocates are invited to learn about and voice their perspectives on our progress and partnerships.

 

PART II: Partnership Panel (6:30-7:30 p.m.)

This panel discussion will focus on the work of the Historic Eastside Community Development Corporation and its partners with special focus on four pillars: housing, education, community wellness and financial vitality.

 

Panelists include:
Travis Williams, Senior Director of Communications, Kids Hope Alliance
Mike Holzendorf, Community Advocate and Owner, Fortress Capital Group
Dr. Rudy Jamison, Assistant Director of Urban Education and Community Initiatives, University of North Florida
Suzanne Pickett, Chair, Historic Eastside Community Development Corporation, and local mixed-media artist
