The 2019 Stein Fellows reception held Nov. 8 at Epping Forest Yacht Club honored the outgoing Stein Fellowship class of 2018 and welcomed members of the class of 2019. The Stein Fellowship program allows members of United Way’s young professionals group, Atlantic Circle, the opportunity to build a professional and personal relationship with an established Tocqueville Society member, as well as mentor a middle-school student through Achievers for Life, a collaborative initiative with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida.
Guest speakers David and Linda Stein, founders of the Stein Fellowship program, highlighted the importance of mentorship. Class of 2018 Stein Fellows and their mentors received a plaque to commemorate their completion of the program. While incoming Stein Fellows met their mentors for the first time and networked with the program’s recent graduates.
