But life sometimes has a way of getting in the way — with housing that’s too expensive, grocery prices that keep going up and child care that’s hard to find or afford. Right now, nearly 40% of households in Northeast Florida are struggling to make ends meet. These individuals and families face tough choices because the next opportunity isn’t always within reach.

That’s why we’ve made a promise. 

The ALICE Promise

By 2030, we promise to develop and invest in community-driven solutions that address root causes of financial instability for all families living below the ALICE threshold. Through this work, we will increase upward mobility, access to essential services and community well-being for all.
