What are we celebrating?

United Way of Northeast Florida turns 100! Since 1924, we have supported families in need, providing hope and opportunities to help them thrive. We’re bringing it full circle to commemorate this occasion: James Weldon Johnson Park was home to the first United Way of Northeast Florida Rally!

How much does it cost to attend?

Free! We love giving back to our community. No tickets are necessary.

Where can I park?

James Weldon Johnson Park is located at 135 W. Monroe St. Free parking will be available at the Duval Street Garage by the Jacksonville Public Library Main Library. The Garage entrance is at 33 W. Duval Street, is covered and security will be provided. Additionally, street parking is available surrounding James Weldon Johnson Park free of charge. Is the event family friendly?

Absolutely! This all-ages event has something for everyone.

What should I bring?

You're welcome to bring lawn/camping chairs and cozy blankets to enjoy the show in comfort. Don't forget the sunscreen! While bringing your own food is allowed, we recommend swinging by the variety of food trucks that will be serving up local mouthwatering favorites. It's a great way to support local vendors and try new treats while you're there!

When can I see Jaxson de Ville or the ROAR?

Jaxson de Ville or the ROAR will be in James Weldon Johnson park from 4-5 p.m.

When can I see performances by Reese the Poet or Jacksonville Dance Theatre?

Jacksonville Dance Theatre will perform on the stage around 5:15 p.m. Reese the Poet will perform on stage around 6:20 p.m.
