High-Quality Education

We advocate for initiatives that provide children the resources they need to succeed in school, ensuring equitable education opportunities and promoting lifelong learning.

The Challenge

Children who do not enter school with core subject knowledge and physical well-being are less likely to experience later academic success and life success. Students who do not graduate from high school are more likely to be unemployed, live in poverty, and to be incarcerated.

The Solution

Your support helps ensure that students of all ages have the resources they need to stay in school. This includes program funding for early childhood development, college prep, mentoring, internships, volunteering, and resources for families of students.

Community-Based Solutions

Success By 6

United Way has partnered with top-rated early learning centers to provide Success By 6, an initiative that offers two-year scholarships to hardworking families who do not qualify for state subsidies, providing their children with access to high-quality early learning.
