In 2022, United Way of Northeast Florida became a key partner in expanding this vital service. Our team works to ensure everyone has access to the support they need during a crisis.

What to Expect

When you call, you’ll hear a brief message with options, including Veteran or LGBTQ+ services, to receive help from a 988 specialist.

Step 2: Connection to resources

After a brief wait with calming music, you'll connect with a caring counselor who'll assess your needs and link you to local mental health care.

Step 3: Compassionate care and support

Our first priority is your safety and well-being. We actively listen to your story and provide support. Together, we'll take the next steps.
